The engine shown here is a Nissan Model Gloria 1972, L-Type, 2000 cc gas engine that has our Trasko  Filter installed. This car has completed 74,375 miles without a single oil change. Notice that there are no carbon deposits and no sludge has developed in in the corners of the rocker arms, around the tappets, or around the oil pin haul journal.
 

With a normal shunt filter, the internal combustion engine in an automobile will have some carbon deposits; and resin build-up and sludge deposits usually start accumulating inside the engine after just 5000 miles.
